Snowing like crazy here.

 

But it's so much fun!!!

 

Tomorrow we will be going down the mountain and spend a night in Thun. Then we will be heading off to Paris!!

Back from Shanghai-- Heading off soon

came back 2 nights ago. was dead tired due to the fact that I didn't sleep for almost 2 consecutive nights.

Thursday night, I pulled an all nighter cos my assignment was due the next morning. Then I didn't sleep at all until 2am the next day and had to wake up at 7 to catch my flight back to penang.

I was sooooooooo tired that I was drooling while sleeping on the plane-- UN-GLAM to the max! but really I was sooooosososo tired!!!!

Am posting pics on fb, resting, packing and arranging my travel details. Am leaving on Wed night. whee!!! haha

Hang Zhou

Just came back from Hang Zhou!

It's so pretty! Blue skies, clean fresh air and pretty lakes.

Love it!!!

Highlight of the trip was renting bicycles and riding around the
Westlake.With all the scary Chinese traffic and watching Zhang YiMou's
Impressions of a Westlake.

From the pictures, you can see that I've been spreading the smelly
toufu love!! This time to 2 korean coursemates! and they love it!
bwahaha!!!

Back in boring Shanghai- but weather's been picking up though. Can
finally see the blue sky! not polluted grey skies.

Gonna collect my suit later and study for my exam which is on
Wednesday! OMG!!! I've been here for quite a while huh? Starting to
get sick of oily salty msg filled chinese food.

Love the milk tea and egg tarts here though!

Vain Shots

Went to a cool Jazz bar called Brown Sugar last night! it was fun!!! music was great! enjoyed myself a lot! hahaha

 

Heading for drinks with my new curled hair! Got it washed and curled for only rmb 15!!!! WOOT WOOT! love it!

 

What do you think? I think it makes me look sexy! haha

Out and About

So I did some exploring alone yesterday :) walked from nanjingeast to
nanjing west station :D love it when im alone in a foreign city taking
in the culture.

had 2 types of baos- shen jian bao (fried dumplings) and xiao long bao
(steamed dumplings). along the way I had smelly toufu!! Omg I love
chou dou fu!!!!! love it love it! had to wait ard 10 mins for the shen
jian bao and ard 30 mins for the xiao long baos. definately worth the
wait!!

met some random hkees while waiting in line for xiao long baos~ hence
the random stranger posing with me~ haha

then I went to qi pu road- basically its like a place
for wholesalers with SUPER CHEAP STUFF! I got a jacket for 85 rmb.

just came back from the fabric market where I got a jacket, pants,
skirt and shirt tailor made for rmb 550 which is like 275 ringgit,
which is pretty worth it I think.

oki gtg shower n study a bit. can't believe that it's my 2nd week here
already!! scary!
